I was born and raised in the green mountains of Vermont before settling in my current hometown of New York City.
I am an actor, director, comedy writer, musician, voice artist, acting teacher, and creative entrepreneur.
For details about my work as actor and director, see the tabs above.
I am the co-creator of THE CHALKS, a satirical country band playing original music and comedy for 20 years. We have appeared on TV, radio, theatre, cabarets and honky tonks all over the country, and we are the subject and creators of a sitcom pilot for Lifetime Television. For more information click THE CHALKS.
I taught acting technique and scene study at New Actors Workshop from 1998 - 2010, training hundreds of actors and working alongside master teachers George Morrison, Mike Nichols and Paul Sills. I have been an adjunct faculty member in the department of Theatre Arts at SUNY New Paltz, The University of Pittsburgh and Saint Michael's College. I currently teach professional actors in New York City. For information about upcoming private classes or coaching, contact me here [email protected]
